Materials You Will Need:
- Kandla Grey Mixed Patio Pack Sandstone
- Base material (such as crushed stone or gravel)
- Landscape fabric
- Masonry saw or chisel
- Rubber mallet or dead blow hammer
- Level
- Jointing sand
- Broom or brush
- Protective gloves and eyewear
- Prepare the area: Clear the installation area of any existing vegetation, debris, or obstacles. Ensure that the ground is level and well-drained.
- Excavate and prepare the base: Dig a trench about 6-8 inches deep for the patio pack sandstone to sit on. Add a layer of landscape fabric to prevent weed growth.
- Install the base material: Fill the trench with a layer of crushed stone or gravel, and compact it thoroughly with a hand tamper or plate compactor.
- Lay the sandstone: Carefully unpack the Kandla Grey Mixed Patio Pack Sandstone and lay out the pieces in your desired pattern. Use a masonry saw or chisel to cut the sandstone as needed to fit around edges or curves.

- Finishing touches: As a final step, rinse the sandstone surface with water to clean off any remaining jointing sand residue. Allow the patio to dry completely before using it for foot traffic or other activities.
